  • 2 cups Fritos Corn Chips Doritos can add a fun flavor twist.
  • 2 cups Mexican-Style Shredded Cheese Monterey Jack or sharp cheddar can be used.

  • 0.25 cup Green Onions Chopped, for garnish.
  • 1 cup Guacamole Perfect as a topping.
  • 1 cup Salsa Adds extra flavor.
  • 0.5 cup Jalapeños Optional, for added spice.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 13x9 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for 5-7 minutes. Add the chopped onion and sauté for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the mixture, add water, and bring to a gentle boil.
  4. Reduce heat and stir in the black beans, diced tomatoes, and sour cream. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Layer Fritos in the baking dish, followed by the beef mixture, and half of the cheese.
  6. Top with another layer of Fritos and the remaining cheese.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 5 minutes.
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving with optional toppings.
