For the Filling
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese can mix with pepper jack
  • 6 slices Bacon pre-cooked
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder optional
  • 2 tablespoons Half & Half can substitute with milk
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
For the Jalapeños
  • 12 Jalapeños larger ones preferred
  • 1 tablespoon Oil olive oil recommended
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Green Onions sliced

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Slice jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds and veins. Rub with olive oil.
  2. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and air fry jalapeños cut side up for 4 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and half & half until smooth. Fold in cheddar and bacon.
  4. Fill each jalapeño half with the mixture and sprinkle more cheese and bacon on top.
  5. Return to air fryer and cook at 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  6. Let cool slightly and garnish with green onions before serving.
