  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Italian dressing mix brands like Good Seasons
  • pinch freshly ground black pepper adjust according to taste
Salad Ingredients
  • 6 cups garden salad mix
  • 2-3 pieces Roma tomatoes or Campari tomatoes
  • handful whole pepperoncini
  • 1/2 cup large black olives
  • 1/4 red onion thinly sliced
  • 1-2 cups croutons homemade preferred
  • 1/2 cup grated Romano cheese or Parmesan as a substitute

Method
 

Dressing Preparation
  1. Combine all dressing ingredients in a bowl or jar. Whisk or shake until blended and smooth.
Salad Assembly
  1. In a serving bowl, add salad mix, tomatoes, pepperoncini, olives, and onion. Toss gently.
Crouton Addition
  1. Add croutons to the salad mixture.
Dressing & Cheese
  1. Drizzle dressing over the salad and sprinkle with cheese. Toss gently to mix.
