Step-by-Step Instructions for Garlic Butter Lobster Tails
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Using sharp kitchen scissors, carefully cut down the back of each lobster shell from the top to the tail without cutting all the way through to the base.
- Gently pull back the lobster shell, separating the meat from the sides while keeping it attached at the base. Place the lobster meat on top of the shell.
- Combine paprika, Old Bay seasoning, kosher salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and ground black pepper in a small bowl. Generously sprinkle this seasoning over the exposed lobster meat.
- Arrange the seasoned lobster tails on the prepared baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes or until the lobster meat turns opaque and slightly firm.
- Melt the stick of butter in a small saucepan over low heat, stir in chopped parsley, grated garlic, lemon zest, and a pinch of any remaining seasoning.
- Brush the lobster meat with the garlic butter sauce and set aside a small amount for drizzling later.
- Switch to broil on high and broil the lobster tails for about 3 minutes or until the top is bubbly and slightly browned.
- Remove from oven, drizzle the reserved garlic butter over the top, and serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges.

Notes
Opt for live or freshly frozen lobster tails for the best flavor. Allow lobster tails to rest before serving for better moisture distribution.
