Preparation Steps
  1. Prepare the Ground Beef: Divide 1 pound of ground beef into 4 portions and shape into balls.
  2. Assemble the Tortillas: Lay a tortilla flat and spread a beef portion in the center, leaving a border.
  3. Season the Beef: Sprinkle salt and pepper evenly over the beef.
  4. Heat the Skillet: Preheat skillet over medium-high heat and drizzle with cooking oil.
  5. Cook the Taco Base: Place the tortilla meat-side down on the skillet, press down and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned.
  6. Melt the Cheese: Flip the taco, place cheese on beef, cover and cook for 1-3 minutes until cheese melts.
  7. Repeat with Remaining Tacos: Cook each taco as above, adding oil to skillet as needed.
  8. Dress Your Tacos: Spread burger sauce over each taco.
