For the Stir-Fry
  • 1 cup White Onion/Shallots Green onions can be substituted.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger Freshly grated.
  • 2 cups Asparagus/Seasonal Veggies Bell peppers or bok choy are great alternatives.

Instructions
  1. Marinate the beef by combining it with baking soda, light soy sauce, peanut oil, and cornstarch. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
  2. Prepare the sauce by whisking chicken broth, oyster sauce, light and dark soy sauces, sugar, cornstarch, and sesame oil in a bowl.
  3. Cook the marinated beef in a hot skillet over medium-high heat for about 1 minute on each side until golden brown.
  4. Stir-fry diced white onion, minced garlic, and fresh ginger in the skillet for 2 minutes until onion is translucent.
  5. Add asparagus or seasonal vegetables and stir-fry for about 1 minute until vibrant and tender.
  6. Combine the beef and vegetables with the prepared sauce, stirring for 1-2 minutes until thickened.
  7. Serve the Beef with Oyster Sauce over rice or noodles, drizzling any remaining sauce on top.
