Infusion and Preparation
- Muddle a quartered jalapeño in a jar. Pour in 2 cups of tequila, adding cucumber slices. Seal and let infuse for 8 to 12 hours.
- Prepare the sugar-salt rim by combining granulated sugar and kosher salt. Coat glass rims with lime wedges before dipping into the mixture.
- Combine 2 ounces of the infused tequila, 1 ounce of orange liqueur, and ¾ ounce of fresh lime juice in a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for about 30 seconds.
- Strain into prepared glasses filled with ice and garnish with a lime wedge and a slice of jalapeño.
