  • 4 cloves Garlic fresh minced, can use garlic powder as alternative
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Ginger ground ginger can substitute, use less
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil use sparingly for authentic flavor

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Brown the ground pork in a large pot over medium-high heat, about 5–7 minutes, until browned. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add olive oil and heat for a minute. Add diced onion and sliced carrots, sauté for 8–10 minutes until softened. Stir in garlic and ginger, cooking for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the vegetables, followed by a dash of sesame oil. Stir well to combine.
  4. Add shredded cabbage, browned pork, and chicken broth to the pot. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15–20 minutes until cabbage is tender.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions.
