Ingredients
  

For the Spinach
  • 1 bunch Fresh Spinach trim ends before use
  • 2 cloves Garlic finely minced
For the Seasoning
  • 1 scallion Green Onion chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce low-sodium preferred
  • 1 teaspoon Salt adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Toasted Sesame Oil do not skip
For Garnish
  • 1 tablespoon Toasted Sesame Seeds for garnish and texture

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Trim the ends of the spinach and cut into 2-inch pieces.
  2. Blanch the spinach in boiling water with a pinch of salt for about 30 seconds.
  3. Transfer the spinach to an ice bath to stop cooking and preserve color.
  4. Combine spinach with garlic, green onion, soy sauce, salt, sesame oil, and sesame seeds in a mixing bowl.
  5. Serve the Korean Spinach Side Dish either cold or at room temperature.
