  • 2.5 cups Panko Breadcrumbs Can substitute with regular breadcrumbs.
  • 2 tablespoons Oil Use olive oil or melted butter.
  • 0.5 cup All-Purpose Flour Gluten-free flour can be used as a substitute.
  • 2 large Eggs No substitutes suggested for binding.
  • 2 tablespoons Water Adjusts batter consistency.
For Flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder Alternative: garlic powder.
  • 0.25 teaspoon Garlic Powder Omit for a milder flavor.
  • 0.25 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper Add more for an extra kick.

Method
 

Brining and Preparing
  1. Mix the chicken tenderloins with the salt in a bowl and refrigerate for 30-40 minutes.
Toasting Breadcrumbs
  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake the panko breadcrumbs mixed with oil for 8-10 minutes.
Preparing Batter
  1. Whisk together eggs, water, flour, onion powder, garlic powder, and pepper until smooth.
Coating the Chicken
  1. Dip chicken in the batter, then coat with toasted panko breadcrumbs.
Baking the Tenders
  1. Bake the coated tenders on a parchment-lined sheet at 200°C (400°F) for 10-12 minutes.
Serving
