Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash five very ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Stir in ½ cup of melted butter until fully combined.
  4. Add ¾ cup of granulated sugar, one beaten egg, and one teaspoon of vanilla extract to the mixture.
  5. Sprinkle in one teaspoon of baking soda and a pinch of salt, fold gently.
  6. Fold in 1 ½ cups of all-purpose flour gently, leaving some lumps.
  7. Carefully fold in 1 cup of crushed Oreo cookies.
  8. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and sprinkle additional crushed Oreos on top.
  9. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Cool the bread in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
