Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350ºF (175ºC) and grease a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly mash the 3 overripe bananas until smooth, then whisk in the 1/2 cup of melted unsalted butter.
  3. Stir in the 3/4 cup granulated sugar and 1/4 cup brown sugar, whisking until evenly combined.
  4. Add the 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt, 2 room-temperature eggs, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the mixture.
  5. In a separate bowl, sift together 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour, 3/4 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1 teaspoon of salt.
  6. Gently fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients with a spatula until just combined.
  7. Once the batter is almost mixed, fold in the 2/3 cup of chocolate chips.
  8. Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula. Bake for about 50 minutes.
  9. Let the banana bread cool in the pan for about 15 minutes before gently removing it.
