Step-by-Step Instructions for Malted Milk Ball Blondies
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8-inch baking pan.
- Coarsely chop 1 cup of malted milk balls and set aside.
- In a small bowl, whisk together 1 cup of flour, 1/2 cup of malted milk powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt.
- In a larger bowl, melt 1/2 cup of butter and let cool slightly. Mix in 1 cup of light brown sugar, 1 egg, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla until smooth.
- Fold the dry mixture into the wet mixture until no flour streaks remain. Fold in the chopped malted milk balls.
- Spread the batter into the baking pan and sprinkle reserved malted milk balls on top. Bake for 20-23 minutes.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 15-20 minutes before slicing into squares.
