Cookie Preparation

  6. Gradually add the dry mixture and mix until just combined.

  8. Scoop the dough into equal-sized balls and place them on prepared baking sheets, spaced 2 inches apart.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft.
  10. Remove from oven and cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  11. Mix the sifted powdered sugar with heavy cream or milk until smooth to prepare frosting.
