  • 1 pound Ribeye or Sirloin Steak Substitute with chicken thighs or pressed tofu if desired.
  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Gochujang (Korean Chili Paste) Can swap with gochugaru for milder spiciness.
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
For the Ramen Bowl
  • 4 packages Instant Ramen Noodles Any brand works.
  • 4 cups Chicken or Beef Broth Opt for vegetable broth for vegetarian versions.
  • 1 tablespoon Gochugaru (Korean Red Chili Flakes) Adjust according to spice preference.
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
For the Creamy Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise (preferably Kewpie) Regular mayo can be used if Kewpie isn't available.
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha or Korean Hot Sauce Adjust for extra spiciness.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Green Onions Chopped.
  • 1 tablespoon Toasted Black Sesame Seeds
  • Chili Oil or Extra Gochugaru Optional for added heat.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, gochujang, sesame oil, brown sugar, minced garlic, and ground black pepper. Add steak and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat grill over medium-high heat. Grill marinated steak for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  3. Boil water in a pot and cook instant ramen noodles for 2-3 minutes until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  4. In a pot, heat chicken or beef broth until simmering. Stir in gochugaru, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and salt. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  5. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, sriracha, sesame oil, and garlic powder until smooth. Adjust sriracha for spice level.
  6. Serve ramen noodles in bowls, ladle hot broth over it, top with grilled beef slices, drizzle creamy sauce, and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
