- Divide 6 cups of Chex cereal into two medium bowls, placing 3 cups in each. Set aside.
- In a bowl, combine 3/4 cup strawberry cake mix and 3/4 cup powdered sugar, whisking to remove lumps.
- Melt 1 cup of red candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth.
- Pour the melted red candy over one bowl of Chex cereal and gently fold using a spatula.
- Transfer coated cereal into a zip-lock bag with 3/4 cup of the strawberry cake mixture. Shake until fully coated.
- Melt 1 cup of white candy melts using the same method and pour over the second bowl of Chex cereal.
- Repeat the coating process with the second bowl, shaking in a zip-lock bag with the remaining strawberry cake mixture.
- Combine both bowls of cereal in a large serving bowl and add 1 cup of Valentine M&Ms and 2 tablespoons of sprinkles. Toss gently.
