Step-by-Step Instructions for Spicy Garlic Butter Shrimp
- Prepare the shrimp by shelling and deveining if not pre-prepared, rinse under cold water, and pat dry. Marinate with salt, black pepper, and paprika for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet over high heat and add olive oil. Add marinated shrimp in a single layer and cook for about 2 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
- Reduce heat to low and add minced garlic to the remaining oil in the skillet, sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant and golden.
- Sprinkle red chilli flakes in the skillet and cook for an additional 30 seconds. Add cold butter and lemon juice, stirring until butter is melted and combined.
- Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet, toss gently in the garlic butter sauce until fully cooked through, about 1 minute.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped herbs. Serve immediately with crusty bread, over rice, or with a salad.

Notes
Best enjoyed fresh as freezing can alter the texture of the shrimp. Use fresh ingredients for optimal flavor.
