  2. Make Strawberry Compote: Combine fresh strawberries, sugar, water, and lemon juice in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until mixture thickens. Chill after cooling.
  3. Create Chocolate-Covered Strawberries: Melt semi-sweet chocolate chips in a bowl. Dip fresh strawberries and let cool to harden.
  4. Assemble Parfaits: Layer chocolate cake cubes, strawberry mousse, and strawberry compote in clear glasses. Repeat layers, finishing with mousse on top.
