  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
Buttercream Frosting

  • 4 cups Powdered Sugar Sifted
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract Could substitute with almond extract
  • 2 tablespoons Heavy Cream
Decoration
  • 1 cup Fresh Berries
  • Macarons or Sprinkles For extra flair
  • Edible Flowers For decoration

Method
 

Baking Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the sugar cookie dough on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thick.
  3. Cut out two heart shapes using a template and place them on the baking sheets.
  4. Bake the cookies for 8 to 10 minutes until golden around the edges and cool on a wire rack.
  5. Frost the first layer with a generous amount of buttercream frosting.
  6. Add the second heart-shaped cookie on top of the frosted layer and frost it generously as well.
  7. Decorate with fresh berries, macarons, or sprinkles according to your Valentine’s theme.
