Baking Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Roll out the sugar cookie dough on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thick.
- Cut out two heart shapes using a template and place them on the baking sheets.
- Bake the cookies for 8 to 10 minutes until golden around the edges and cool on a wire rack.
- Frost the first layer with a generous amount of buttercream frosting.
- Add the second heart-shaped cookie on top of the frosted layer and frost it generously as well.
- Decorate with fresh berries, macarons, or sprinkles according to your Valentine’s theme.
