- In a mixing bowl, combine the turmeric, saffron, lemon juice, minced garlic, chili flakes, and olive oil until well blended.
- Add the chicken thighs and sliced onions to the bowl, ensuring they are well-coated with the marinade. Cover with plastic wrap or transfer to a resealable bag.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 375°F to 400°F.
