Step-by-Step Instructions for Easter Basket Cake
  1. Preheat your oven to the temperature indicated on the cake mix package, typically around 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix on medium speed for about 2 minutes until smooth.
  2. Grease your cake pans with non-stick spray or butter. Pour the batter evenly into the pans and bake according to package instructions, usually 25 to 30 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
