Mixing and Baking
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, melted butter, and egg. Stir until smooth, resembling a thick batter.
- Add the softened cream cheese to the dough and fold it in until fully incorporated for a creamy consistency.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a clean kitchen towel and refrigerate the dough for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Once chilled, scoop out tablespoon-sized portions and roll them into balls. Optionally, roll in powdered sugar or pink granulated sugar.
- Place the cookie balls on prepared baking sheets, ensuring they are about 2 inches apart.
- Bake the cookies for 8-10 minutes, with edges set and centers soft.
