Mixing and Baking

  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a clean kitchen towel and refrigerate the dough for at least 1 hour.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  5. Once chilled, scoop out tablespoon-sized portions and roll them into balls. Optionally, roll in powdered sugar or pink granulated sugar.
  6. Place the cookie balls on prepared baking sheets, ensuring they are about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake the cookies for 8-10 minutes, with edges set and centers soft.
