Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine sweet chili sauce ingredients: sweet chili sauce, water, gochujang, tomato ketchup, sesame oil, sugar, and rice vinegar. Whisk together until smooth and set aside.
  2. Heat cooking oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour sweet chili sauce into the pan with sautéed garlic, stirring to combine. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Add the air-fried tofu balls to the sauce, ensuring they are fully coated. Let simmer for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  5. If the sauce is too thick, gradually add an extra tablespoon of water until desired consistency is reached.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds, then serve hot over steamed rice or with noodles.
