Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch pie pan with cooking spray or butter.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef for 7-8 minutes until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. Sprinkle taco seasoning over the cooked beef, mix well, and cook for another minute, then transfer to the pie pan.
  4. In a medium bowl, whisk together heavy whipping cream, eggs, chunky salsa, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, garlic salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the seasoned beef in the pie pan, spreading evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of shredded cheese on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes until the center is set and the top is golden.
  8. Let the pie cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
