Ingredients

For the Smoothie
  • 2 cups Almond Milk This serves as the creamy base and hydrating liquid; feel free to swap it with coconut or oat milk for a different flavor.
  • 2 cups Frozen Mango Adds a natural sweetness and tropical essence; using fresh mango may require adjusting the milk for desired thickness.
  • 2 medium Frozen Mandarin Oranges These give a zesty citrus flavor; freezing them yourself ensures maximum freshness, but fresh can be used if you decrease the milk amount.
  • 1 cup Plain Greek Yogurt This ingredient adds creaminess and a healthy protein boost; opt for vegan yogurt as a dairy-free alternative while noting it may lower protein content.
  • 1/4 medium Ripe Avocado Enhances the smoothie’s creaminess; make sure it’s ripe for the best consistency.
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Ginger A touch of warmth and spice to elevate the flavors; feel free to adjust to taste or eliminate for a milder finish.
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract Imparts a lovely fragrant sweetness; always choose pure vanilla for the most robust flavor.
  • a pinch Sea Salt Helps balance all the flavors and brings out the natural sweetness in this Mango Orange Smoothie.

  • Blender

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by pouring 2 cups of almond milk into a high-speed blender. Blend briefly for about 10-15 seconds until just combined, allowing the liquid to froth slightly.
  2. Next, add 2 cups of frozen mango and 2 medium frozen mandarin oranges to the blender. Blend on medium speed for approximately 30 seconds until well combined.
  3. Incorporate 1 cup of plain Greek yogurt and 1/4 of a ripe avocado into the mix. Blend on high for about 30 seconds until fully combined and silky smooth.
  4. Add 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt. Blend again on high for another 20-30 seconds.
  5. Check the consistency and taste of your smoothie. If it’s too thick, add a splash more almond milk and blend for an additional 10 seconds.
  6. Pour your vibrant Mango Orange Smoothie into tall glasses and enjoy immediately for the freshest flavor. Alternatively, store in an airtight jar for up to 24 hours.
