  • 4 cups Water
  • 4 bags Black Tea Assam, Ceylon, or Darjeeling recommended
For the Flavor
  • 1 large Orange fresh organic for best flavor
  • 3 sprigs Fresh Rosemary vibrant green sprigs
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger firm and fragrant
For Sweetness
  • 2-3 tablespoons Sugar adjust to taste, or use honey/stevia
For Serving
  • as needed Ice Cubes
  • optional Garnish slices of orange and sprigs of rosemary

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Boil the water in a medium-sized pot until it reaches a rolling boil.
  2. Remove from heat and add black tea bags, fresh rosemary, orange zest, and sliced ginger.
  3. Let the mixture steep for 5 to 7 minutes until it develops a nice amber hue.
  4. Remove tea bags and stir in sugar to taste while the tea is still warm.
  5. Strain out ginger, zest, and rosemary, then mix in freshly squeezed orange juice.
  6. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature before refrigerating for 1 to 2 hours.
  7. Serve over ice and garnish each glass with a slice of orange and a rosemary sprig.
