Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by rimming your glass with fresh lemon or orange juice to dampen the edge. Dip the rim into raw sugar, ensuring it's evenly coated.
  2. Using a vegetable peeler, carefully create a long strip of orange peel.
  3. In a cocktail shaker, combine ginger simple syrup, freshly squeezed orange juice, and lemon juice. Shake vigorously with ice for about 15-20 seconds.
  4. Remove the ice from your prepared glass and strain the citrus mixture into it, filling it two-thirds full. Top off with sparkling apple cider.
  5. Gently squeeze the orange peel over the drink to release essential oils, adding aroma. Place the peel on the rim or float it on top.
