- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, mash the 3 ripe bananas until smooth. Stir in the granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted unsalted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture. Gradually add the flour while stirring gently until just combined.
- In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar with 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon and set aside.
- Pour half of the banana batter into the loaf pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture on top.
- Pour the remaining banana batter over the cinnamon layer. Sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon sugar mixture on top.
- Gently swirl through the batter with a skewer or knife.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Whisk together 1 cup of powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons of milk to prepare the glaze.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled bread and let it set before slicing.
