Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
- Combine graham crackers and granulated sugar in a food processor. Pulse until finely crushed. Drizzle in melted butter and mix until wet sand texture. Press into the bottom of the prepared pan and bake for 8-10 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice until smooth and creamy. Fold in the whipped topping carefully.
- Spread the creamy filling evenly over the cooled crust. Cover the pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Cut into squares and top with cherry pie filling before serving.
