  • 1 pound Lean Ground Beef 5% fat preferred
  • 1 cup Coarsely Chopped Pepperoni
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder or substitute with fresh onions
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder or use fresh garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika or use regular paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano or use fresh if in season
  • 1 can Crushed Tomatoes or fresh tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato Paste optional
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped Flat-Leaf Parsley or other herbs
  • 1 cup Low-Fat Mozzarella Cheese or cheddar
For Assembly
  • 4 large Wraps burrito wraps or flatbreads

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, combine onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and dried oregano. Mix well and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat a drizzle of oil over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in chopped pepperoni and spice mix. Cook for 2 more minutes.
  4. Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and chopped parsley. Stir and let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Lay out wraps and divide filling evenly. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top and roll tightly.
  6. Arrange rolls seam-side down on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Spray tops with cooking spray and bake at 200°C (400°F) for 8-10 minutes.
  7. Let the rolls cool for a few minutes before serving with marinara sauce or ranch dressing.
