Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and gather your mixing bowl and loaf pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Fold in the shredded Swiss cheese, crumbled bacon, and chopped mushrooms into the mixture.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a greased loaf pan, shaping it into a meatloaf form.
  5. In a small bowl, mix ketchup and brown sugar until smooth. Spread this glaze over the top of the meatloaf.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes. Check the internal temperature to ensure it reaches 160°F (71°C).
  7. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes after baking, then slice and serve.
